A great travel SIM

Activation process was very straightforward. When I arrived at the airport, all I needed to do was restart my phone and it was working. I got a good signal throughout my time in Mumbai and was even able to tether to my tablet for Teams meeting without any problems. Very happy with the purchase.

Funktioniert, aber nicht überall

Kauf, Versand und Installation waren problemlos, die Karte funktioniert in Delhi auch völlig einwandfrei - in Agra war allerdings keine Spur von Empfang, so dass wir uns mit dem WLAN des Hotels begnügen mussten. An mangelnder Netzabdeckung an sich kann das nicht gelegen haben, die Inder nutzen fleißig ihre Smartphones - offensichtlich wurde das Netz von orange (fr) gar nicht unterstützt. Dasselbe erlebten übrigens auch Telekomkunden.
Da wir nur eine Woche in Indien waren, störte die eher kurze aktive Laufzeit des Tarifs (14 Tage) nicht. Falls das Handy ESim-fähig ist, wäre ein indischer Anbieter vermutlich die erfolgreichere Lösung.

Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass in Agra kein Empfang möglich war. Die Netzabdeckung kann je nach lokalen Netzbetreiber-Vereinbarungen variieren, und wie du festgestellt hast, wurde Orange (Frankreich) in diesem Gebiet offenbar nicht unterstützt.

Wir schätzen deinen Hinweis zur kurzen Tariflaufzeit und stimmen zu, dass ein lokaler Anbieter für längere Aufenthalte in Indien eine gute Alternative sein kann. Deine Rückmeldung hilft uns, unseren Service zu verbessern und zukünftige Kunden besser zu informieren.
